Naughty Dog’s flagship series gets top nods from the leading gaming industry association…
The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) has announced the nominees for their annual D.I.C.E. awards. Several games received multiple nods this year but it was Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End that lead the pack with ten nominations. Other games acclaimed by the academy included Inside with nine nominations, Battlefield 1 with eight nods and The Last Guardian with seven. The nominees for the coveted Game of the Year Award are:
- Battlefield 1
- Overwatch
- Pokemon Go
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
The award winners will be revealed at the D.I.C.E. Awards ceremony on February 23 hosted by Greg Miller of Kind of Funny Games and Jessica Chobot of Nerdist News. The ceremony will also induct Fallout and The Elder Scrolls director Todd Howard into the AIAS hall of fame.
