1.Goldeneye (N64)

Goldeneye 007 takes the top spot on this list because…well, to put it bluntly, this game is fantastic. Perhaps it was the team of fresh minds that had never produced a game before, or the thrill of being able to travel throughout the levels however you wanted, but being James Bond never felt so cool. Whether it be the action-packed single player mode or the wacky and fun multiplayer, Goldeneye 007 paid such an intense homage to the series. Players used stealth tactics to sneak around maps, used weapons like the Golden Gun to blow opponents’ heads clean off, or made sure to leave traps around corners for others to fall into. To be sure, there’s absolutely nothing like Goldeneye.
