1. Duke Nukem Forever
Hail to the king, baby! Even when it comes to shittiness, the Duke proves that he’s still the top gun. Duke Nukem Forever failed spectacularly for so many reasons. First off, it was trying to live up to the beloved Duke Nukem 3D, so expectations were sky-high. Secondly, it was in development for fifteen years, leading players to lose hope they’d ever fill the Duke’s size 18 shoes again. And lastly, at the end of the day, the game was just plain bad. The story was laughable but rarely funny, the gunplay was archaic and frustrating, and the game looked like it had been shit out by a Triceratops on a Domino’s diet. There’s really not much to be said for Duke Nukem Forever. Sadly, it seems even steel can break.
