Does it have blast processing?

At the Sonic 25th Anniversary celebration in Los Angeles, Sega announced a new 2D entry in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Sonic Mania. The game seems to be a throwback to the classic Sonic titles in design and style, showcasing a mix of older stages like the Green Hill Zone and newer zones (including what appears to be a cityscape themed around television monitors and a lottery ball machine). Sonic will be joined by his usual companions Tails and Knuckles as fully playable characters.

Not too much in the way of any other information is available at press time beyond the game’s estimated release date (Spring 2017) and the platforms it will be on (PS4, Xbox One, and PC), as the event is ongoing. Stay tuned for more about Sonic Mania and any other announcements made at the 25th Anniversary celebration.
