“If I were you, I wouldn’t try so hard. You’ll live longer.”
Titanfall released to a lot of pomp and circumstance back in 2014, with players praising its core concept and engaging gameplay but criticizing its lack of a single-player mode and the relatively thin multiplayer content compared to its contemporaries. Two years later, Respawn Entertainment is back with their second go-around at the property, and a brand new teaser to go with it.
While I enjoyed Titanfall for its engaging and easy-to-pick-up multiplayer, I was one of the many who wanted a bit more of a detailed story to go with the vast world the game attempted to develop. This teaser-with its dramatic narration on the nature of heroism and its more somber tone-offers a scant glimpse at the themes the game’s previously announced single-player mode will tackle.
More info on the game, along with a gameplay trailer, will be revealed at E3 2016.
