And there goes the end of a very bumpy and rough era. On March 31st, Sony has announced that the PSP systems will no longer be able to directly connect to the PlayStation Store via the console itself. Anyone looking to download a game for their console will have to do it via the PlayStation Store website. Past purchases as well will be accessible still and the in-game content will be available as well. This marks another nail in the closing coffin of the PSP, Sony’s first handheld system. It is interesting to see how this console will die as it is the first console you could download your entire library on. How do you think Sony will handle people’s purchased content at that point?
