Raven Software’s latest update to Modern Warfare Remastered brings with it six new maps (Bloc, Countdown, Pipeline, Showdown, Strike and Wet Work), as well as the holiday-themed Winter Crash, rounding out the original 16 that were a part of the original game. The update also includes two additional modes, Gun Game and Hardpoint.
Lastly, the update brings with it microtransactions and the Operation Arctic Wolf loot drop, providing players with more customization options for their soldier. While all the new content can be acquired in-game, you can also purchase CoD Points with real-world cash to expedite the unlocking process. A first for Modern Warfare, the Arctic Wolf loot drop also gives the player the ability to play as a female soldier, a feature that’s been a part of the series since Advanced Warfare back in 2014.
