As Battlefield 1’s October 21st release date quickly approaches, we’re beginning to see more and more of its eclectic cast and varying forms of combat. The latest release comes hot on the heels of Gamescom 2016, showing a sizeable chunk of good old-fashioned gameplay.

The contents of the video constitute everything we’ve come to expect from Battlefield 1’s trailers thus far: expansive maps, great explosions and a melting pot of horses, tanks, Zeppelins, swords and, thankfully, your bread and butter early twentieth century arsenal.

The soundtrack to the trailer also happens to contain the brooding, legendary drawl of Johnny Cash. That’s a hell of a draw, if nothing else entices sufficiently.

Gamescom 2016 will be running from August 16th – 21st, in which we’ll hopefully see a lot more of games like the now-delayed Final Fantasy XV and Dishonored 2.
