Horizon Zero Dawn‘s gameplay trailer invites us into a beautifully animated world with a bold female lead. Sony spends a lot of time on this game which tells us they must really believe in this IP.
The extensive gameplay trailer showcases weapon crafting, combat, dialogue options, character interaction, robot animal taming, and the extensive open-world environment. The lead character’s narration of her actions gives us insight into who she is (an adventurous, brave, intellectual) while providing the practical function of helping us–the player–understand this world and how to survive it.
