Monstrously Adorable

Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure may not have been our own Evan Schwab’s game of the year, but fans of the 3DS title have something to look forward to in the new year-namely, a costume and a little scavenger hunt in the town of Tiese. The game’s publisher Mastiff Games confirms that on New Year’s Day 2017, players will be able to dress main character Parin up in a kimono reminiscent of those worn during the Shogatsu (Japanese New Year) as well as go searching for the Kagami Mochi, popular Japanese sweet rice cakes, that will be scattered throughout the town. More details on how to get in on the New Year’s spirit can be found at the official Gurumin website.
