Amazon announced its best-selling products of the 2016 holiday season in a press release earlier today. Hidden near the very end was a neat little detail: Pokemon Sun & Moon, along with Final Fantasy XV, were the top-selling games on the website during the biggest shopping season of the year. I was going to make a joke about how they should just make a crossover already, but this exists. Either way, it’s pretty heartwarming to see people turn out in force for the beloved franchises (especially as Pokémon just celebrated its 20th Anniversary, and Final Fantasy turns 30 next year). I feel bad for people who bought both, though-the struggle has got to be real.
