The Ringed City

The final expansion for Dark Souls 3 will be dropping March 28th. It is open to pre-order for those without a season pass already.

The trailer above shows off the first look into the new expansion. A voice over describes the area named The Ringed City. Their first words being, “The close of the age of fire.” Connecting to the lore of Dark Souls could mean this area is a place without the flame, potentially being snuffed out rather than reignited. The design of the area looks closer in style to that of the main game than the icy tundra of the previous DLC, just much darker. The boss enemy that is shown glowing red with fire certainly lights things up at least.
