When Scalebound was revealed at the Microsoft press conference at E3 2014 it stood out as an original concept for a game with some interesting style and prominent character design accessories.
Recently news about the game has slowed to a trickle and according to sources speaking to Kotaku Scalebound may be targeted for cancellation. Microsoft representatives, again speaking to Kotaku, have stated that news about Scalebound is forthcoming soon.
Update (2:20pm PST): Microsoft has confirmed to Kotaku that production of Scalebound has been cancelled.
