Four New Maps and Another Zombies Chapter
Eclipse, the second DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III released today and Activision debuted a launch trailer for the DLC pack. The trailer shows off the multiplayer combat within the new maps.
The four multiplayer maps are: Knockout, Spire, Rift, and Verge. Knockout is a Shaolin Temple, with a retro twist. Spire is a futuristic style map, set in a sub-orbital airport terminal high in the clouds. Rift takes place in the core of a military complex. Finally, Verge is a re-imagining of the classic Call of Duty: World at War map, Banzai.
The DLC also has the next chapter in Black Op III‘s zombie mode. The developers describe the mode: “In the latest chapter of the zombies experience, the origins characters find themselves stranded on a remote pacific island continuing their mission to stop the zombie apocalypse. There they will face the effects of Element 115 on human, plant, and animal biology that has created horrors beyond belief. Explore diverse environments from lush tropical forest to the stark, overgrown laboratory facility using zip lines or the sewer systems to evade the zombie horde.”
Eclipse releases today for PS4, Xbox One, PC for $15 or purchase the full season pass for $50.
