The bi-annual event practically doubled their total funds from last year.

The winter edition of the bi-annual speed-running festival, Awesome Games Done Quick (AGDQ), has concluded after raising more than $2.2 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. In comparison, last year’s event raised $1.2 million. More than half of the total funds raised at winter AGDQ were donated in the last twelve hours of the event. The list of games for this year’s event were an interesting mix of classics like Castlevainia and Super Metroid, indie darlings like Undertale, but also modern triple A games like Dark Souls III and DOOM.  In case you missed the action, the streams are archived on YouTube.

Some of the notable runs of the event included:

Doom

Dark Souls III

Undertale

Darkwing Duck
