Pokemon GO was on show for Day 2 of Nintendo Treehouse at E3. The release date was revealed to be for July 2016… as in next month! You will be able to download the game and start walking around the world, encountering Pokemon and battling other trainers.
Additionally, Miyamoto was on hand to show off a bluetooth accessory called the Pokemon GO Plus that will pair with the game and notify you when a Pokemon is near and even allow you to throw pokeballs without constantly monitoring your phone while adventuring. The Plus will retail for $35 and will be out after the game has launched in June.
