The Nintendo Treehouse event spent an extensive amount of time showing off Sun and Moon.

Starting with this trailer:

And then moving to more overt gameplay. The use of Popplio throughout was clearly Nintendo’s arguing against the Popplio hate:

We got the chance to see some of the Alola region and meet some new Pokemon but it was all pretty run of the mill. The most exciting aspect of today’s Sun and Moon examination was the Battle Royal:

It’s a four-player, free-for-all battle in which each player has 3 Pokemon. The winner is determined by the number of Pokemon defeated, and the number of Pokemon left in your party at the end of an allotted time.
