Fallout’s Largest DLC Releases May 19th
The first trailer for the upcoming Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4 has been released today. The trailer shows off the new area you explore: Far Harbor. Far Harbor is an island off the coast of Maine, constantly filled with fog. The bleakness and monstrous underwater creatures reminded me of a Stephen King setting. I wouldn’t be too surprised to see a town called Derry hidden in there somewhere.
Bethesda described the DLC as: “In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”
Far Harbor offers new enemies, faction quests, and settlements for you to explore. You’ll also find new weapons and gear to combat these terrible foes. Hopefully all these new features will be in the creation kit so we can have some hilarious mods.
Far Harbor will release for PC on May 19th, later in May for Xbox One, and in June for the PS4. The DLC costs $ 24.99 unless you have purchased the season pass.
